# How to confirm your hours

**For:** Shift worker
**You'll need:** A finished shift, and a company that uses two-step approval (your manager will know).

Some companies ask you to **confirm** your worked hours before a manager approves them — you're saying "yes, these are the hours I worked." You'll usually do this without thinking about it. This article covers both ways.

## The easy way: clock out at the kiosk

If you clock in and out at a shared tablet, **clocking out is your confirmation**. There's nothing extra to do — your hours are confirmed the moment you tap **'Clock out'**. See {doc}`/track-time/kiosk/daily-use`.

## Confirm it yourself

If you didn't use a kiosk — or you need to confirm a shift later:

1. In the header, go to **Planning → Management → Timesheet**. You'll see only your own finished shifts.
2. Find the shift, showing status **'Published'**.
3. Check the clock-in and clock-out times. If they're wrong, open the row to fix them first.
4. Click **'Confirm'** on the row.

The status changes to **'Confirmed'**, and your manager can now approve it.

```{tip}
Confirmed by mistake, or noticed a wrong time? Open the row's **'⋯'** menu and click **'Undo confirmation'** — as long as a manager hasn't approved it yet. After that, ask your manager.
```
:::

:::{tab-item} Mobile app
:sync: mobile

1. Tap **More** in the bottom bar, then **'Timesheets'**. You'll see only your own shifts.
2. Find the shift, showing status **'Scheduled'**, and tap it.
3. If the recorded times are wrong, tap **'Correct times'** first — you'll be asked why they need changing.
4. Tap **'Confirm hours'**.

The status changes to **'Confirmed'**, and your manager can now approve it.

Tap the filter icon (top-right) to narrow the list by status — **'Scheduled'**, **'Confirmed'**, **'Approved'** — or to flip the sort order.

```{tip}
Confirmed by mistake? Tap the row again and choose **'Undo confirmation'** — as long as a manager hasn't approved it yet. An approved row is locked and can't be tapped.
```

Confirming needs a connection. Offline, the sheet says so and only shows the shift's details.

## What if I can't confirm?

If you've left the company, are off sick, or just can't get to a device, your manager can confirm your hours for you. The hours never get stuck.
