# How to withdraw a swap offer or application

**For:** Shift worker
**You'll need:** An offer you posted, or an application you submitted, that hasn't been approved yet.

Changed your mind? You can pull a swap back as long as it hasn't been approved.

## Withdraw an offer you posted

1. Open **Planning → 'Swap marketplace'** and switch to the **'My offers'** tab.
2. Click the offer.
3. Click **'Withdraw'**.

The offer closes, and anyone who had applied is told it's no longer available. The shift stays yours.

## Withdraw an application you made

1. Open the offer you applied to (from the marketplace, or the link in your confirmation email).
2. Find your application and click **'Withdraw'**.

Your application is removed. The offer stays open for others, and your own shift (for a 1:1 swap) is freed back up.

Once a manager approves a swap — or it auto-approves because no approval was required — it's final and can't be withdrawn. From that point, a change has to go through normal shift assignment.

## Verify it worked

The offer shows **'Withdrawn'**, or your application disappears from the offer page.
