# How to read the assigned-vs-required bar

**For:** Manager
**You'll need:** Nothing.

Each cell shows two numbers and a coloured bar — assigned vs. required, plus a percentage.

## What the bar shows

- **Assigned** — how many people are currently assigned to shifts covering that hour.
- **Required** — the sum of min headcount across the shifts covering that hour.
- **Bar fill** — the percentage of required that's currently assigned.

## What the colours mean

- **Green (full)** — assigned ≥ required for this hour.
- **Amber (warning)** — assigned > 0 but < required.
- **Red (critical)** — assigned = 0 while required > 0.
