# How to multi-select shifts by click

**For:** Manager
**You'll need:** Two or more shifts on the calendar.

Build a selection one shift at a time — useful when the shifts you want aren't contiguous.

## Toggle shifts into the selection

1. Hold **'Alt'** (**'Option'** on macOS).
2. Click each shift you want in the selection.
3. Click an already-selected shift again to deselect it.

A toolbar appears showing **'Selected shifts (n)'** with the running count.

## Verify it worked

Selected shifts have a highlighted outline, and the count in the toolbar matches the shifts you've clicked.
