# How to undo the last template apply

**For:** Manager
**You'll need:** A template apply that just happened (and that you haven't navigated away from).

If you apply a template and immediately regret it, the toolbar offers a one-click revert that deletes the just-generated shifts.

## Undo the apply

1. In the toolbar, click **'Undo last apply'**.

The shifts that were generated by the most recent apply are deleted. Shifts that were already on the calendar are untouched.

## Verify it worked

The just-generated shift blocks disappear; everything else is unchanged.

Only the most recent apply can be undone this way. Older applies need to be cleaned up shift-by-shift or via {doc}`/plan-schedules/shifts/bulk/bulk-delete-shifts`.
