# How to bulk-edit shifts from the list

**For:** Manager
**You'll need:** A selection of two or more shifts (see {doc}`bulk-select-shifts`).

Apply the same change to every selected shift in one form.

## Open bulk-edit

1. Build a selection.
2. In the toolbar, click **'Edit selected'**.

The bulk form opens. The full mechanics — which fields can be bulk-changed, what's required for shared assignments — are described in {doc}`/plan-schedules/shifts/bulk/bulk-edit-shifts`.

## Verify it worked

A success toast confirms the bulk update; the changed fields show the new value across the affected rows.
