# How to review the swap queue

**For:** Manager | Admin
**You'll need:** Permission to review swaps. Swaps must be turned on for your company.

The swap queue is where you keep an eye on everything happening in the marketplace — what's open, what's waiting on you, and what's already been decided.

## Open the queue

1. In the left sidebar, open **Planning**.
2. Click **'Manage swaps'**.

## Find what needs you

Filter by **status** to focus the list:

- **Open** — posted, no one matched yet.
- **Pending approval** — someone applied and the swap is waiting on your decision.
- **Approved**, **Rejected**, **Auto-rejected**, **Withdrawn**, **Expired** — already resolved.

You can also filter by location, position, type, and shift date.

Swaps far enough ahead may **auto-approve** without ever reaching this queue, if your company sets an approval cutoff. Only swaps inside the cutoff window land in **'Pending approval'**. See {doc}`/settings-and-admin/company-settings/swaps`.

## Verify it worked

The list shows each offer with its shift, the people involved, the type, and the current status. Click a **'Pending approval'** row to make a decision.
