# Delete employment types

**For:** Manager | Admin
**You'll need:** Employment types you no longer use.

You'll remove one or many employment types at once.

## Delete one

1. Go to **Company → Employment types** in the left sidebar.
2. Open the employment type.
3. Click **'Delete'**.
4. In the **'Delete employment type?'** dialog, click **'Delete employment type'**.

## Delete many at once

1. On the list, tick the checkbox at the start of each row.
2. Click **'Delete selected'** above the table.
3. In the **'Delete employment types?'** dialog, confirm.

People assigned to a deleted employment type lose the link. Reassign them first if you still need their contract reference.

## Verify it worked

The employment type (or types) no longer appear at **Company → Employment types**.
