# Bulk-generate MLP entries on a person

**For:** Manager | Admin
**You'll need:** A person and the locations and positions you want them to work.

You'll create the cartesian product of every selected location × every selected position for this person, in one step.

## Open the bulk panel

1. Go to **Company → People** in the left sidebar.
2. Open the person.
3. Scroll to the **'MLP'** section.
4. Click **'Bulk generate'**.

## Pick locations and positions

1. In the **'Locations'** dropdown, choose the locations.
2. In the **'Positions'** dropdown, choose the positions.
3. Click **'Generate'**.

{{ app_name }} creates one MLP entry for every location × position combination for this person. Existing entries are preserved.

## Verify it worked

The MLP block lists the new entries. Each row uses the default hourly rate; click an entry to set a specific rate — see {doc}`/set-up-your-company/locations/edit-a-single-mlp-entry`.
