# A statutory holiday is missing

**For:** Admin
**You'll need:** Nothing.

A public holiday should be in your **Company → Holidays** list and isn't. The auto-seeder runs forward only about 18 months, manually-edited rows are skipped on re-seed, and the list filter may simply be hiding the row.

## Check three possibilities

1. **You're looking too far ahead.** {{ app_name }} auto-seeds statutory holidays roughly 18 months forward from today. A holiday two years out won't be in the list yet — it'll appear next time the seeder runs. If you need it sooner, add it manually with the **'Add new holiday'** button.
2. **An admin edited it, then it disappeared from re-seed.** Auto-seeded rows are tagged **'Source: AUTO'**. The first time someone edits one (changes the multiplier, splits to half-day, renames it), it converts to **'Source: MANUAL'** so the next re-seed doesn't overwrite their changes. If a manual row was deleted, the re-seeder will not put it back automatically — re-create it manually, or delete the manual marker so it can be re-seeded.
3. **The list filter is hiding it.** Open the **'Filter'** panel on the holidays list. Check the **'Source'** filter — if it's set to only **'AUTO'** or only **'MANUAL'**, you may be missing the row in the other source. Also check **'Country'** and **'Location'** filters.
