# How to filter the coverage grid

**For:** Manager
**You'll need:** Nothing.

Narrow the grid to a date range, location, area, or position.

## Open the sidebar

1. Click **'Filter'** in the toolbar.

## Apply filters

1. Pick a **'Date range'**, **'Locations'**, **'Areas'**, or **'Positions'**.
2. Click **'Apply filters'**.

Filters are persisted between visits.

## Verify it worked

Only matching rows and dates are shown; the row count changes to match.
