# How to add, edit, or delete your own availability

**For:** Shift worker
**You'll need:** Nothing.

You use the same forms as your manager, scoped to your own account.

## Add an availability block

1. Go to **My availability**.
2. Click **'Add availability'**.
3. Pick a type, set a start and end, and (optionally) tick **'Recurring'** for a pattern.
4. Click **'Save'**.

## Edit a block

1. Click the block in your overview or calendar.
2. Update fields and save. For recurring blocks pick **'This'** / **'Following'** / **'All'** (see {doc}`/plan-schedules/availability/edit-an-availability-block`).

## Delete a block

1. Open the block and click **'Delete'**.
2. For recurring blocks pick the scope and confirm.

## Verify it worked

The new (or changed) block appears on your overview and calendar.
