# How to multi-select shifts with a lasso

**For:** Manager
**You'll need:** A bunch of shifts in a contiguous area.

Lasso a rectangular area to select every shift inside it at once.

## Lasso the shifts

1. Hold **'Alt'** (**'Option'** on macOS).
2. Click and drag across an empty area of the calendar.
3. Release the mouse.

Every shift the lasso intersects is added to the selection. The toolbar shows **'Selected shifts (n)'** with the count.

## Verify it worked

Each shift inside the dragged area has a selection outline and the toolbar shows the matching count.
