# How to bulk-select shifts in the list

**For:** Manager
**You'll need:** A shift list with at least one row.

Select shifts row by row, the whole page at once, or every shift that matches the current filter.

## Select one row at a time

1. Tick the checkbox at the start of each row.

## Select every shift on the page

1. Tick the checkbox in the column header.

Every row currently visible on this page is selected.

## Select every shift matching the filter

1. After ticking the page header checkbox, click **'Select all matching'** in the prompt that appears.

The selection now spans every page of the current filter — the count in the toolbar reflects the total, not just this page's worth.

## Verify it worked

Every selected row's checkbox is ticked, and the toolbar shows the total selection count.
