# Recurring shifts

Recurring shifts let you describe a pattern once — every Monday at 09:00, the second Tuesday of every month, every other Friday — and {{ app_name }} expands it into individual shifts you can edit independently.

When you change a recurring shift you'll be asked whether the change applies to **'This'** occurrence, this and all **'Following'** ones, or **'All'** occurrences in the series.
