# How to view the template calendar

**For:** Manager
**You'll need:** At least one schedule template — see {doc}`/plan-schedules/schedule-templates/create-a-schedule-template`.

The template calendar is a dedicated calendar that holds only the shifts inside a chosen template.

## Open it

1. Go to **Planning → Template calendar** in the left sidebar.
2. The calendar loads with your last-selected template (or empty if none picked yet).

## Verify it worked

You see a calendar grid with the chosen template name shown in the toolbar.
