# Bulk-generate MLP entries on a location

**For:** Manager | Admin
**You'll need:** A location with people and positions to assign.

You'll create the cartesian product of every selected person and every selected position for this location, in one step.

## Open the bulk panel

1. Go to **Company → Locations** in the left sidebar.
2. Open the location.
3. Scroll to the **'MLP'** section.
4. Click **'Bulk generate'**.

## Pick people and positions

1. In the **'People'** dropdown, choose the people to include.
2. In the **'Positions'** dropdown, choose the positions to include.
3. Click **'Generate'**.

{{ app_name }} creates one MLP entry for every person × position combination at this location. Existing entries are kept untouched — only missing combinations are added.

## Verify it worked

The MLP block lists the new entries. Each new row uses the default hourly rate; click an entry to set a specific rate — see {doc}`edit-a-single-mlp-entry`.
