# Remove a skill from a person

**For:** Manager | Admin
**You'll need:** A skill attached to the person.

You'll remove a skill from a person's profile. They will no longer count as having that qualification when you plan shifts that require it.

## Remove the skill

1. Go to **Company → People** in the left sidebar.
2. Open the person.
3. Expand the **'Skills'** section.
4. Click the skill.
5. Click **'Delete'**.
6. In the **'Remove skill?'** dialog, confirm.

## Verify it worked

The skill no longer appears in the person's **'Skills'** section.
