# Delete skills

**For:** Manager | Admin
**You'll need:** Skills no longer needed.

You'll remove one or many skills at once. Removing a skill clears it from every person who held it and from every position that required it.

## Delete one skill

1. Go to **Company → Skills** in the left sidebar.
2. Open the skill.
3. Click **'Delete'**.
4. In the **'Delete skill?'** dialog, click **'Delete skill'**.

## Delete many at once

1. On the skills list, tick the checkbox at the start of each row you want to remove.
2. Click **'Delete selected'** above the table.
3. In the **'Delete skills?'** dialog, confirm.

Deleting a skill removes it from all assigned people and from all positions that required it. There is no undo.

## Verify it worked

The skill (or skills) no longer appear at **Company → Skills**.
