# How to sort the shift list

**For:** Manager
**You'll need:** Nothing.

Click any column header to sort the list — click again to flip ascending and descending.

## Sort by a column

1. Click the column header you want to sort by.
2. Click it a second time to reverse the order.

The available sort columns are start date, end date, duration, location, area, position, persons, and status.

There are no columns to click. The one sortable list is the team schedule, and it sorts by start date only.

1. Tap **Shifts** in the bottom bar, then the team icon for **Team schedule**.
2. Tap the filter icon in the top bar.
3. Under **Sorting**, choose **Oldest first** or **Newest first**.
4. Tap **Done**.

Your own **Shifts** list is always oldest-first — it's a schedule, so it reads forward from now.

## Verify it worked

An arrow appears next to the active column header indicating the sort direction, and the rows reorder accordingly.
