# Delete holidays

**For:** Manager | Admin
**You'll need:** Holidays you want to remove.

You'll remove one or many holidays at once.

## Delete one

1. Go to **Company → Holidays** in the header.
2. Open the holiday.
3. Click **'Delete'**.
4. In the **'Delete holiday?'** dialog, click **'Delete holiday'**.

## Delete many at once

1. On the list, tick the checkbox at the start of each row.
2. Click **'Delete selected'** above the table.
3. In the **'Delete holidays?'** dialog, confirm.

Deleting an auto-seeded holiday near today is permanent — the monthly horizon job only fills in the far edge, so it won't bring the row back. A date far out at the horizon edge can be re-created, though. To suppress a holiday for good, edit it instead so it converts to **'Manual'**, or change its locations to none.

## Verify it worked

The holidays no longer appear at **Company → Holidays**.
