Time compensation

Time compensation is the running ledger of credit hours that build up when a person works under conditions the law (or your policy) compensates with time off rather than money — primarily Swiss night-work credit under ArG 17b (Arbeitsgesetz, Swiss labor law). The ledger also holds any manual adjustments HR posts to it.

The ledger is read-only. Credits flow in automatically when time entries are submitted, and reverse automatically when those entries are unsubmitted, unapproved, or the underlying shift is deleted. The only manual write path is the HR adjustment form.
