How to add a company#

For: Admin You’ll need: Owner role (any existing company on your account).

If you run more than one organisation — a second restaurant, a sister business, a separate legal entity — you can keep each one as its own company under a single account. Every company has its own people, schedules, and data, but they all share one subscription.

Why a second company instead of one big one#

  • Each company keeps its data fully separate — people, schedules, reports, and exports don’t mix.

  • You still pay one bill. Billing is per account and per person, so staff who work across two of your companies count as one seat, not two.

Open the Manage companies page#

  1. Open the account dropdown (top-right) and click ‘Account’.

  2. Click ‘Manage companies’.

Create the company#

  1. In the ‘Add a company’ section, enter the ‘Organization’ name.

  2. Pick the ‘Country’ (sets the default labor-law rules and statutory holidays for that company).

  3. Click ‘Create company’.

The new company is created under your existing account and subscription — no new payment setup, no new trial. Your seat count is recalculated automatically.

Verify it worked#

The new company appears in the list on the Manage companies page and in the company switcher (header, top-right). Switch into it to start setting it up — see How to switch between companies and Set up your company.
