How to delete a recurring shift#

For: Manager You’ll need: A recurring shift.

Deleting a recurring shift opens the same ‘This shift only’ / ‘This and following shifts’ / ‘All shifts in the series’ scope chooser as editing.

Delete the occurrence#

  1. Open the occurrence from the calendar or the list.

  2. Click ‘Delete’.

  3. The scope chooser modal opens.

Choose the scope#

‘This shift only’

Removes only this occurrence. The series adds this date to its exception list, so it won’t be regenerated.

‘This and following shifts’

Removes this occurrence and every later one. The series is truncated to end the day before.

‘All shifts in the series’

Removes the entire series — every past, current, and future occurrence is deleted.

  1. Click your choice, then click ‘Delete’ to confirm.

Warning

‘All shifts in the series’ is permanent and cannot be undone. Use ‘This and following shifts’ if you only want to stop the series going forward.

Verify it worked#

The chosen occurrence(s) disappear from the calendar and the list.
