Bulk-generate MLP entries on a location#
For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: A location with people and positions to assign.
You’ll create the cartesian product of every selected person and every selected position for this location, in one step.
Open the panel#
In the sidebar, go to Company → Locations.
Open the location.
Find the right-hand ‘Assignments’ panel — the two pickers are always visible.
Pick positions and people#
In the ‘Positions’ picker, choose the positions to include.
In the ‘People’ picker, choose the people to include.
Click ‘Create assignments’.
Shiftavo creates one MLP entry for every person × position combination at this location. Existing entries are kept untouched — only missing combinations are added.
Note
People who are missing a skill the position requires are silently skipped. Check the result and fix the skill first — see Add a skill to a person.
Verify it worked#
The ‘Assignments’ panel lists the new entries. A new entry carries no rate of its own — pay falls back to the person’s hourly rate or the employment-type rate. Click an entry to set a specific rate — see Edit a single MLP entry.
