How to read the day-detail breakdown#

For: Manager You’ll need: Nothing.

The day-detail page sorts every person into one of three buckets and shows a capacity strip across the day.

The three buckets#

Each bucket shows its share of the team as a percentage.

‘Available’

The person has available time that day, and no unavailability or approved leave cuts into it.

‘Partial’

The person has available time, but an unavailability or approved leave block cuts into part of it.

‘Unavailable’

The person has no available time left that day — nothing entered, or unavailability or approved leave covers all of it.

For someone in always-available mode, the whole day counts as available time, less any unavailability or approved leave.

The person cards#

Each person’s card carries a ‘Working’ line and an ‘Eligible’ line; the legend on the page explains their markers.

The ‘Hourly capacity’ strip#

The ‘Hourly capacity’ strip shows how many people are available at each hour. Use it to spot the moments in the day when capacity dips.

Verify it worked#

The groups add up to everyone in scope, and no hour of the ‘Hourly capacity’ strip counts more people than the ‘Available’ and ‘Partial’ groups together.
