How to reject a marketplace offer#

For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: An offer that’s still live — status ‘Open’, ‘Pending approval’, or ‘Partially filled’.

If an offer shouldn’t go ahead, reject it. Nothing on the schedule changes — the shift stays with whoever holds it now, and an open shift stays unfilled.

Reject#

  1. Open Planning → ‘Manage marketplace’ and click the offer.

  2. Click ‘Reject offer’.

  1. Tap More in the bottom bar, then ‘Manager’ → ‘Manage marketplace’.

  2. Tap the offer. Use the ‘Open shifts’ or ‘Swaps’ segment to find it.

  3. Tap ‘Reject offer’ at the top right.

  4. Confirm — the app warns you that this closes the offer and declines every pending response, and that it can’t be undone.

‘Reject offer’ is only shown while the offer is still live; a resolved one carries no action at all.

What happens#

  • The offer’s status becomes ‘Rejected’.

  • Every pending response is marked ‘Not selected’.

  • The current owner keeps the shift, and the people involved are notified.

Note

Rejecting closes the offer for good. If the shift still needs cover, post a fresh one — assuming it’s still far enough out under your marketplace rules.

Verify it worked#

The offer shows a ‘Rejected’ badge and no longer accepts responses. The shift’s assignment is unchanged.
