Bulk-generate MLP entries on a person#

For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: A person and the locations and positions you want them to work.

You’ll create the cartesian product of every selected location × every selected position for this person, in one step.

Open the panel#

  1. In the sidebar, go to Company → People.

  2. Open the person.

  3. Find the right-hand ‘Assignments’ panel — the two pickers are always visible.

Pick positions and locations#

  1. In the ‘Positions’ picker, choose the positions.

  2. In the ‘Locations’ picker, choose the locations.

  3. Click ‘Create assignments’.

Shiftavo creates one MLP entry for every location × position combination for this person. Existing entries are preserved, and locations outside your data scope are skipped.

Note

If the person is missing a skill one of the positions requires, that combination is silently skipped. Check the result and fix the skill first — see Add a skill to a person.

Verify it worked#

The ‘Assignments’ panel lists the new entries. A new entry carries no rate of its own — pay falls back to the person’s hourly rate or the employment-type rate. Click an entry to set a specific rate — see Edit a single MLP entry.
