How to publish shifts up to a cutoff#
For: Manager You’ll need: At least one draft shift.
Set a cutoff date and time and Shiftavo publishes every draft shift starting on or before it. Optionally restrict the publish to one location. For a recurring shift, only the occurrences that start by the cutoff are published — unlike ‘Publish’ on the shift itself, which publishes the whole series. Shifts in a schedule template are never published.
Open the publish page#
Click ‘Publish’ in the toolbar of the Shift calendar or Shift list.
Set the cutoff#
In the ‘Publish through’ field, pick the date and time. As the help text says: “All drafts starting on or before this date and time will be published.”
(Optional) In the ‘Location’ dropdown, pick a single location to scope the publish — or keep ‘All accessible locations’ to publish across every location you can access.
Submit#
Click ‘Publish’.
A success toast confirms the count of shifts published.
Verify it worked#
The published shifts now show the ‘Published’ status badge in the Shift list and on the Shift calendar. If your company uses shift acceptance, assigned shift workers are asked to accept, and the success toast says how many assignments are awaiting acceptance.
