Create a budget#
For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: At least one company period — see Create a company period.
You’ll create a budget for one period, optionally scoped to a single location.
Open the form#
Go to Company → Budgets in the left sidebar.
Click ‘Add new budget’ in the top-right.
Fill in the form#
Open the ‘Period’ dropdown and pick the period the budget covers.
(Optional) Pick a ‘Location’ to scope the budget to one location. Leave it empty for a company-wide budget.
Enter the ‘Labor budget’ — the maximum planned labor spend.
Enter the ‘Revenue target’.
(Optional) Add ‘Notes’.
Click ‘Save’.
Verify it worked#
The new budget appears at Company → Budgets.
