Create a budget#

For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: At least one company period — see Create a company period.

You’ll create a budget for one period, optionally scoped to a single location.

Open the form#

  1. Go to Company → Budgets in the left sidebar.

  2. Click ‘Add new budget’ in the top-right.

Fill in the form#

  1. Open the ‘Period’ dropdown and pick the period the budget covers.

  2. (Optional) Pick a ‘Location’ to scope the budget to one location. Leave it empty for a company-wide budget.

  3. Enter the ‘Labor budget’ — the maximum planned labor spend.

  4. Enter the ‘Revenue target’.

  5. (Optional) Add ‘Notes’.

  6. Click ‘Save’.

Verify it worked#

The new budget appears at Company → Budgets.
