How to read the eligible-vs-qualified split

How to read the eligible-vs-qualified split#

For: Manager You’ll need: Nothing.

The coverage tooltip lists unassigned people in two groups so you can see at a glance whether you have skill-ready staff to fill a gap.

The two groups#

Qualified

People who are MLP-eligible and have every required skill for the shift’s position. Assign them and you’re done — no warnings.

Eligible but skill-gapped

People who are in the MLP pool but missing one or more required skills. They show up in the assignment dropdown with a skill-gap warning. Use them only if you’re willing to override the warning.

Why the split matters#

A red coverage cell with five qualified candidates means you have a routine staffing problem. A red cell with zero qualified and five skill-gapped candidates means you have a training problem.
