Work rules

A work rule bundles the daily, weekly, and rest limits, the overtime tiers, and the pay premiums that Shiftavo enforces for a given country and state. Locations and employment types reference a work rule, so changing it ripples through scheduling, validation, and reports.

Most teams start with one rule per country (for example “Switzerland — default”) and add variants only when a location or contract genuinely needs different limits.
