Delete a location

Delete a location#

For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: A location that isn’t the default and isn’t referenced by shifts.

You’ll remove a location from your company.

Delete the location#

  1. Go to Company → Locations in the header.

  2. Open the location you want to delete.

  3. Click ‘Delete’ at the bottom of the form.

  4. In the ‘Delete location?’ dialog, click ‘Delete location’.

Verify it worked#

The location no longer appears in the list at Company → Locations.

When you can’t delete#

Two guards block deletion:

Warning

You can’t delete the default location. Pick another location, mark it as default, then come back — see Set the default location.

Warning

You can’t delete a location whose areas are used by shifts. Reassign or delete those shifts first, then try again.
