How to undo a confirmation#

For: Manager | Shift worker You’ll need: A time entry with status ‘Confirmed’.

You’ll roll a single row back from ‘Confirmed’ to ‘Published’ when you need to fix the times or you confirmed by mistake. Undoing a confirmation reverses every accrual the confirmation triggered — it’s the exact inverse of How to confirm a time entry.

Undo the confirmation#

  1. In the header, go to Planning → Management → Timesheet.

  2. Find the confirmed row.

  3. Open the row’s ‘⋯’ menu and click ‘Undo confirmation’.

On your own row:

  1. Tap More in the bottom bar, then ‘Timesheets’.

  2. Tap the row carrying the ‘Confirmed’ badge.

  3. Tap ‘Undo confirmation’.

As a manager, on someone else’s row:

  1. Tap More in the bottom bar, then ‘Manager’, then ‘Timesheets’.

  2. Tap the confirmed row.

  3. Tap ‘Undo confirmation’.

The action needs a connection; offline it isn’t offered. It stays available even when your company is on automatic time approval — it’s the manual escape hatch.

What undo does#

  • The status flips back to ‘Published’.

  • The confirmation (who confirmed it, and when) is cleared.

  • Leave accruals tied to the row are reversed — see Leave requests.

  • Time-compensation accruals tied to the row are reversed — see Time compensation.

  • Any clock times that were auto-filled from the schedule are cleared, so you can re-enter the right times before re-confirming.

Warning

Clearing the auto-filled times is intentional — it forces a fresh confirmation. If you only want to change a real punch by a minute, edit the row first (How to edit clock-in and clock-out times); editing clears the confirmation on its own.

Verify it worked#

The row’s status badge reads ‘Published’ and the leave or time-compensation balance is back to its pre-confirmation value.

Locked rows#

If the row has been approved, it’s locked — the ‘Undo confirmation’ action is disabled. Unapprove it first. See What a locked row looks like on the timesheet.
