How to withdraw an offer or response#
For: Shift worker You’ll need: An offer you posted, or an application you submitted, that hasn’t been approved yet.
Changed your mind? You can pull a swap back as long as it hasn’t been approved.
Withdraw an offer you posted#
Open Planning → ‘Shift marketplace’ and switch to the ‘My offers’ tab.
Click the offer.
Click ‘Withdraw’.
Tap More → ‘Shift marketplace’ and switch to the ‘My offers’ segment.
Tap the offer.
Tap ‘Withdraw’ in the top-right.
The action only appears while the offer is still live — a completed, rejected, or expired one has nothing to withdraw. It commits immediately, with no confirmation step, and needs a connection.
The offer closes, and anyone who had applied is told it’s no longer available. The shift stays yours.
Withdraw an application you made#
Open the offer you applied to (from the marketplace, or the link in your confirmation email).
Find your application and click ‘Withdraw’.
Tap More → ‘Shift marketplace’ and switch to the ‘My responses’ segment.
Tap your response.
Tap ‘Withdraw application’ in the top-right.
Only a ‘Pending’ response can be withdrawn; once it’s been decided, the action is gone.
Your application is removed. The offer stays open for others, and your own shift (for a 1:1 swap) is freed back up.
Note
Once a manager approves a swap — or it auto-approves because no approval was required — it’s final and can’t be withdrawn. From that point, a change has to go through normal shift assignment.
Verify it worked#
The offer shows ‘Withdrawn’, or your application disappears from the offer page.
