How to view time compensation#
For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: Nothing.
You’ll open the time-compensation ledger to see every credit and debit on a person’s time-comp balance — auto-accrued night-work credit, manual HR adjustments, and any reversals.
Open the ledger#
In the left sidebar, go to Company → Time compensation.
You see one row per ledger entry, sorted newest first. Each row shows the date, the person, the signed delta in hours, the source (auto-accrual, manual adjustment, reversal), and a link to the underlying shift, leave request, or adjustment.
Filter the list#
Open the ‘Filters’ panel above the table and choose any combination of:
‘Person’ — one or more people.
‘Source’ — ‘Auto-accrual’, ‘Manual adjustment’, or ‘Reversal’.
‘Date’ — a start and end date.
Click ‘Apply’. Your filters stay set the next time you open the page.
Sort the list#
Click a column header to sort. You can sort by date, person, source, or delta. Click the same header again to flip the direction.
Read a row#
A positive delta is a credit — hours added to the balance.
A negative delta is a debit — hours taken out, either by reversal or by an HR adjustment.
The source column links to the originating record. Click it to open the shift, leave request, or manual adjustment that produced the row. See How to view a time-compensation row.
Verify it worked#
The row count above the table reflects your filters, and the running balance per person matches the sum of their rows.
