The payroll cycle looks off#

The payroll summary covers the wrong dates, the ‘This bi-weekly’ preset points at a week you didn’t expect, or the bi-weekly cadence flipped. All three are anchor-and-preset problems.
Check three possibilities#
The presets are always bi-weekly. The payroll summary’s date presets are ‘This bi-weekly’ and ‘Last bi-weekly’ regardless of your ‘Payroll frequency’ — they’re computed from the ‘Payroll anchor date’. If you pay weekly or monthly, don’t use the bi-weekly presets; set the date-range filter to your period instead. See How to set the payroll frequency.
The anchor date is wrong. Bi-weekly cycles need an anchor — a date inside a “week 1” period from which Shiftavo counts every other week. If the anchor is one week off, every cycle is one week off. Open the account menu → ‘Settings’, find ‘Payroll’ in the right column, and fix the ‘Payroll anchor date’ — the ‘This bi-weekly’ and ‘Last bi-weekly’ presets will realign.
You picked ‘Last bi-weekly’ instead of ‘This bi-weekly’. The two presets sit in a dropdown, and it’s easy to compare numbers across the wrong one. Confirm which range is selected at the top of the report.
Verify it worked#
The period dropdown on the report names the cycle you meant, and its boundaries line up with the ‘Payroll anchor date’ in your company settings.
