How to set the default MLP grouping#
For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: Nothing.
The MLP block (the cross-reference between Members, Locations, and Positions) shows up on every Location, Person, and Position page. Each block can be grouped in two ways. Use this setting to choose the default grouping per page type. You can still toggle the grouping on the page itself; the setting is just the default.
Open your settings#
Open the account dropdown (top-right) and click ‘Settings’.
Find the ‘MLP grouping defaults’ section.
Set the default for each page#
In the ‘Default grouping on Location pages’ dropdown, choose ‘By position’ or ‘By people’.
In the ‘Default grouping on Person pages’ dropdown, choose ‘By location’ or ‘By position’.
In the ‘Default grouping on Position pages’ dropdown, choose ‘By location’ or ‘By people’.
Save#
Click ‘Save’.
Verify it worked#
Open a Location, a Person, or a Position page. The MLP block opens in the grouping you chose. The toggle on the page still works for one-off changes — your default kicks in on the next visit.
