How to filter the calendar#
For: Manager You’ll need: Nothing.
Narrow what the calendar shows by location, area, position, person, or status. Filters apply on the spot and are remembered until you sign out.
Add a filter#
In the toolbar, click the filter icon button. A menu lists the properties you can filter on: ‘Type’, ‘Start from’, ‘End until’, ‘Location’, ‘Area’, ‘Position’, ‘People’, ‘Status’, ‘Notes contains’, ‘Created by’, and ‘Only with validation issues’.
Pick one. The menu switches to that property’s values — tick one or more, or type a value for the text and date properties.
Click ‘Apply’.
The calendar redraws and the filter appears as a chip below the toolbar. Repeat for each further filter: you add them one at a time, not all at once. The ‘Status’ filter has three values: ‘Draft’, ‘Published’, and ‘Cancelled’.
Change or remove a filter#
Click a chip’s value to reopen its picker.
On chips such as ‘Location’ and ‘Status’, clicking the middle segment opens a choice between ‘is’ and ‘is not’ — or, once you have picked more than one value, between ‘is any of’ and ‘is none of’. On the ‘End until’ chip the choice is ‘before’ or ‘after’.
Click a chip’s × to remove that one filter.
Click ‘Clear’ to remove them all.
Verify it worked#
The calendar shows only the matching shifts. Reopen the page and the same filters are still applied.
Tip
The same filter controls appear in the Availability and Coverage views.
