How to undo your last change on the calendar#
For: Manager You’ll need: Your most recent change on the shift calendar.
Applied the wrong template, or dropped a shift on the wrong day? The shift calendar’s undo button takes back your last change there: a template apply, a drag, a resize, an Alt-duplicate, an Alt-split, or a quick-assign from a shift block. The change is remembered until you sign out, so navigating away and coming back doesn’t lose it.
Undo the change#
In the toolbar, click the undo icon next to ‘Apply’ — its tooltip reads ‘Undo last change’.
The button is greyed out when there’s nothing to take back. A toast confirms with “Last change undone.”
What comes back#
A template apply, duplicate or split: the shifts it created are deleted, with the people on them. People a duplicate added to a shift that was already there come off again, and a person you split off goes back onto the original shift. Shifts that were already on the calendar are otherwise untouched.
A drag or resize: the shift goes back to its old times. On a published shift, the answers the move reset come back too.
A quick-assign: the person you added comes off the shift, or the person you removed goes back on.
When a change is left alone#
Undo only takes back what is still exactly as your change left it. If a shift has changed since — for example it was published, moved again or edited, or its people changed, answered or clocked in — that part of the change stays as it is. So does anything on a shift with approved hours or on the marketplace. The toast then says so, for example “1 change was left alone because its shift has changed since.”
Verify it worked#
The shifts are back the way they were before your change, and the undo icon is greyed out.
Note
Undo holds one change, once: your next change replaces it, and after an undo there’s nothing left to take back. Edits in the shift form don’t count. Older template applies need to be cleaned up shift by shift or with How to bulk-delete shifts.
