How to delete your account

How to delete your account#

For: Manager | Shift worker | Admin You’ll need: Your password, or a code from your authenticator app if you use two-factor authentication.

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Three things happen:

  • You are signed out and can no longer sign in.

  • Every company you own is permanently deleted too.

  • All members of those companies lose access, and subscriptions end at the current billing period.

Warning

If you only want to remove one company but keep your account, delete the company instead — see How to delete a company. If you’re leaving a company someone else owns, ask a manager to remove you; your account stays.

Delete it#

  1. Open the ‘Account’ menu (top-right) and go to your account page.

  2. Under ‘Danger zone’, click ‘Delete account’ — if you own a company, the link reads ‘Delete companies or account’.

  3. Confirm it’s you on the ‘Confirm access’ screen — with your password, or with a code from your authenticator app. Shiftavo asks for this before showing the page, and doesn’t ask again for the next few minutes.

  4. Scroll to the ‘Delete account’ section.

  5. Type your email address in the confirmation field, exactly as shown.

  6. Click ‘Delete account’, and confirm again in the ‘Delete your account?’ dialog.

Verify it worked#

You’re signed out, and signing in with the same email no longer works. To use Shiftavo again later, create a new account.
