How to sign in with your company account#
For: Manager | Shift worker | Admin You’ll need: A Shiftavo invitation from your company, and your usual work login.
If your company has set up single sign-on, you don’t need a Shiftavo password. You sign in with the same work account you use for everything else — Microsoft, Google, or whatever your company runs — and land in Shiftavo already signed in.
Note
Nothing to switch on yourself. Single sign-on is set up per company, by us, together with your IT. If you don’t see it, your company doesn’t use it — sign in with your password as usual (How to sign in).
Go to the Shiftavo home page and click ‘Sign in’ in the top-right.
Type your work email address in the email field.
Click or tab out of the field. The password box is replaced by a ‘Continue with …’ button naming your company’s login.
Click it. You’re sent to your company’s own sign-in page.
Sign in there the way you always do.
You’re sent straight back and land in the web app.
Open the app and tap ‘Sign in’.
Your phone opens a secure browser window on the Shiftavo sign-in page. Type your work email there.
Tap ‘Continue with …’ and sign in at your company’s page.
The window closes by itself and drops you back in the app, on your shifts.
Tip
Prefer a direct link? /accounts/sso/ asks only for your email and sends you straight to
your company’s login. Handy as a bookmark, or in a link from your intranet.
If you have a password too#
Having single sign-on doesn’t delete your password — unless your company chose to require single sign-on. In that case the password stops working, and so does ‘Forgot your password?’: Shiftavo tells you your company requires single sign-on and sends you back to the button.
If your company also asks for a code#
Two-factor authentication set up on your work account is asked for by your company, on their page. Your company can also tell Shiftavo to accept that check instead of asking again for the Shiftavo code — so depending on what they chose, you may be asked for a code once, twice, or not at all. See How to sign in with two-factor authentication.
Verify it worked#
You’re in the web app (or on the Shifts tab in the mobile app) and your email address shows in the account menu, top-right.
