Work policies

A work policy bundles the daily, weekly, and rest limits, the overtime tiers, and the pay premiums that Shiftavo enforces for a given country and state, and it picks the break policy whose breaks apply. Locations and employment types reference a work policy, so changing it ripples through scheduling, validation, and reports.

Most teams start with one policy per country (for example “Switzerland — default”) and add variants only when a location or contract genuinely needs different limits.
