How to change your plan#
For: Admin You’ll need: Owner role.
You’ll move your account to a different plan — up to reach a feature you need, or down to a cheaper one. The change applies to every company on your account at once, and takes effect immediately.
Open the plan cards#
Open the account menu (top-right) and click ‘Account’.
Scroll to the ‘Plan’ section.
You’ll see a Subscription panel with your current status, then three cards — Core, Plus and Pro. The plan you’re on is marked ‘Current plan’ and has no button; there’s nothing to buy.
Choose monthly or annual#
Above the cards, click ‘Monthly’ or ‘Annual’.
Both buttons show the price per person per month, so the two are directly comparable. Annual is billed once a year and gives you two months free — twelve months for the price of ten.
Pick the plan#
On the card you want, click ‘Choose’.
If you don’t have a subscription yet, you go to a Stripe-hosted Checkout page to enter payment details — see How to start a subscription. If you already have one, the plan switches on the spot.
Change plan from the Stripe Billing Portal#
You can also switch from the portal: in the Subscription panel click ‘Manage subscription’, then change the plan there. A downgrade takes effect immediately and the difference is prorated onto your next invoice.
Verify it worked#
Go back to ‘Account’ → ‘Plan’. The card you picked now reads ‘Current plan’. In the web app, the menu entries for the features that plan includes appear right away — you don’t have to sign out and back in.
Note
Moving down a plan never deletes anything, and it never removes anyone’s access. Your demand data, skills, budgets, custom roles and paired kiosk tablets stay where they are, and everyone keeps the access they had — you just can’t create or change more of them until you’re back. Until then a paired kiosk takes no new clock-ins or break starts, but anyone who clocked in on it can still clock out or end a break there.
