How to find a page or a record with search#
For: Manager | Shift worker | Admin You’ll need: Nothing.
Press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K elsewhere, anywhere in the web app, to jump straight to a page, a person or a record by typing part of its name — no clicking through the sidebar.
Search#
Press ⌘K / Ctrl+K, or click ‘Search…’ in the left sidebar.
Start typing. The pages from the sidebar narrow down as you type; from the second letter on, matching people and records appear too.
Move with the arrow keys and press Enter, or click a result. Esc closes the search.
What you can find#
Pages — every page your sidebar shows.
People — by first name, last name or email.
Records — by name: locations, areas, positions, skills, employment types, work policies, break policies, break rules, leave policies, holidays and kiosk devices. Employment types and break rules match their code too.
You only find what you can open anyway: the people you have access to, and locations, areas, positions and kiosk devices within your reach. A result opens the record’s edit page if you may change it, and its read-only page otherwise. Shifts and budgets aren’t searchable — use the shift list or the budgets page for those.
Verify it worked#
The page or record you picked opens. When nothing matches, the search says “No results.”
