How to view time compensation#
For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: Nothing.
You’ll open the time-account ledger to see every credit and debit on a person’s night-work credit balance — auto-accrued night-work credit, manual HR adjustments, and any reversals.
Open the ledger#
In the sidebar, go to Company → Time & leave → Time accounts.
The page is titled ‘Time accounts’. It is one ledger for both kinds of time account — ‘Working time’ (the plus/minus flextime balance) and ‘Night-work credit’ (the statutory Art. 17b credit this section is about) — so filter by ‘Kind’ when you only want the credit rows.
You see one row per ledger entry, sorted newest first. Each row shows the person, the date, the kind, the source, the signed hours, and the note; ‘Manage columns’ (the icon next to the filter icon) adds the shift, leave request, and creator columns.
Filter the list#
Click the filter icon above the table to open the ‘Create filter’ menu.
Pick a filter and set its value. Active filters appear as chips under the toolbar — click a chip to edit it, or its × to drop it.
The filters are:
‘People’ — one or more people.
‘Kind’ — ‘Working time’, ‘Night-work credit’, or both.
‘Source’ — ‘Opening balance’, ‘Manual adjustment’, ‘Payout’, ‘Rebase’, ‘Termination payout’, ‘Night-work accrual’, ‘Accrual reversal’, ‘Compensation time taken’, or ‘Wage supplement (Randstunde cash)’.
‘Start from’ and ‘End until’ — the date range.
‘Clear’ drops every chip. Your filters stay set the next time you open the page, and you can save a set of them as a view with the view switcher on the left of the toolbar.
Sort the list#
Click a column header to sort. You can sort by person, date, kind, source, hours, or — once you show it — creator. Click the same header again to flip the direction.
Read a row#
A positive value is a credit — hours added to the balance.
A negative value is a debit — hours taken out, either by a reversal or by an HR adjustment.
Reversals of an automatic accrual carry the source ‘Accrual reversal’; a correction you post by hand carries ‘Manual adjustment’. The original row is never edited.
A greyed-out row with a ‘Voided’ badge is a Randstunde cash marker that no longer applies — kept for the audit trail.
Click a row to open its detail, which links to the shift or leave request that produced it. See How to view a time-compensation row.
Verify it worked#
The item count below the table reflects your filters, and the person’s night-work credit balance on their person page matches the sum of their ‘Night-work credit’ rows.
