Choose a state or subdivision#
For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: A location form open.
You’ll pick the state or canton matching the country you selected. The list updates automatically when you change the country.
Pick the country first#
On the location form, open the ‚Country‘ dropdown and choose a country.
The state field below reloads with that country’s subdivisions — cantons for Switzerland, Bundesländer for Germany or Austria, states for the US.
Pick the subdivision#
Open the ‚State‘ dropdown.
Choose the matching subdivision.
Click ‚Save‘.
Verify it worked#
The state appears in the address on the location detail page.
Tipp
If the state list looks empty after you change the country, give it a moment — the form fetches the options on the fly.
