The app is slow or unresponsive#

Shiftavo feels sluggish, the calendar takes ages to draw, or a click does nothing for several seconds.

Check four possibilities#

  1. Refresh the browser tab. Long-running tabs accumulate state. A hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R) usually fixes it.

  2. Clear your filters. Heavy filter combinations on a large date range force the server to scan more data. Click ‚Clear all filters‘ and shrink the visible range.

  3. Switch to a lighter view. Roster timeline views (‚Roster week timeline‘, ‚Roster month‘) render every person row and every shift block. ‚Month grid‘ (dayGridMonth) is much lighter. Use the calendar view dropdown to switch.

  4. Check your connection. A flaky network looks like a slow app. Try another site; if everything’s slow, the problem is upstream.
