Edit a required skill#

For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: A skill already linked to the position.

You’ll toggle whether the skill is hard-required for the position.

Open the skill#

  1. Go to Company → Positions in the left sidebar.

  2. Open the position.

  3. Expand the ‚Required skills‘ section.

  4. Click the skill.

Toggle the requirement#

  1. Tick or clear the ‚Required‘ checkbox.

  2. Click ‚Save‘.

Tipp

To swap the linked skill, remove the row and add a new one — see Remove a required skill and Add a required skill to a position.

Verify it worked#

The badge on the skill row updates between ‚Required‘ and the lighter „preferred“ style.
