Add a position#
For: Manager | Admin You’ll need: At least one location.
You’ll create a new position, pick its color, link it to locations, and set headcount thresholds.
Open the position form#
Go to Company → Positions in the left sidebar.
Click ‚Add new position‘ in the top-right.
Fill in the basics#
Enter a ‚Name‘.
Pick a ‚Color‘ from the preset palette — this is the color shifts of this position will use on the calendar.
Open the ‚Locations‘ dropdown and pick the locations where this position is offered.
(Optional) Add ‚Notes‘.
Set headcount#
Enter the ‚Minimum headcount‘ — the floor below which a shift counts as understaffed.
Enter the ‚Target headcount‘ — the desired number.
Enter the ‚Maximum headcount‘ — the ceiling above which a shift counts as overstaffed.
Click ‚Save‘.
Verify it worked#
The new position appears at Company → Positions with its color swatch and locations.
